DDA Housing scheme 2008 results announced today

Today, DDA announced the results of the much-awaited draw of lots of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Housing Scheme 2008. Of the 12.64 lakh application forms which were sold, 5,60,000 forms were found eligible for inclusion in the lottery by DDA. This means that for each of the 5,010 flats there will be more thann 100 applicants.

Neemo Dhar, DDA spokesperson said that because of shortage of space, the agency would not allow general public to witness the draw.  “We have formed a panel of judges comprising of non-DDA officials to conduct draw of lots. The entire list of allottees would be uploaded by 3 pm. The list will also appear in all national newspapers on Wednesday,” said Dhar.

The scheme offered 5,010 ready to move flats priced between Rs 7.95 lakh and Rs 11.90 lakh in areas like Rohini, Vasant Kunj, Dwarka, Paschim Vihar,  Pitampura, Motia Khan, Dilshad Garden, Narela, Shalimar Bagh, Jhilmil, East of Loni Road, Nand Nagari, Peeragarhi, Sarai Khalil, Lok Nayak Puram, Bindapur and Zafrabad.
